Summary of our Privacy Policy

This summary covers every TECHBRIDGE website that links here and all related products and services. The detailed policy follows the same structure and is the actual legal document. Our Privacy Commitment : TECHBRIDGE has never sold your information for advertising or made money by displaying others’ ads, and we never will. This approach has been our standard for nearly a decade, and we are dedicated to maintaining it. This policy outlines what information we collect from you, how we use it, who can access it, and what actions you can take.

Part I – Information TECHBRIDGE Collects and Controls

We collect only the necessary information. Some of this data is provided by you directly when you sign up for an account, register for events, request customer support, or make a purchase. We store your name and contact details, but not credit card numbers (except with your permission and through our secure payment gateways). When you visit our websites or use our software, we automatically log basic information such as your navigation path and usage of features and settings. This information helps us improve our services and develop new products. We also receive information indirectly. For example, if you inquire about our products through referral programs or reselling partners, or sign in using an authentication service like LinkedIn or Google, they will share your contact details with us. We use this information to fulfill your requests. Additionally, if you engage with our brand on social media (e.g., liking, commenting, retweeting, mentioning, or following us), we will access your interactions and profile information. This information remains with us even if you later remove it from the social media platform.

What We Do with Your Information

We use your information to provide the requested services, manage your accounts, and monitor for unauthorized activities. We also use it to communicate with you about the products you are using, respond to customer support requests, inform you about new products, solicit feedback, and notify you of policy updates. Analyzing collected information helps us understand user needs and improve our services. We must have a legal basis to collect and process your information. In most cases, we have your consent or need the information to provide the requested service. Otherwise, we must demonstrate a legal basis, such as legitimate business interests. You can refuse certain information uses either by not providing the information initially or by opting out later. Disabling cookies can prevent your browser from sharing information with us, but this may affect website functionality. TECHBRIDGE completely disables non-essential and intrusive third-party cookies on all websites and products. Access to your personal information is restricted to employees and contractors with a legitimate need to use it. If we share your information with other parties (e.g., developers, service providers, domain registrars, and reselling partners), they must have appropriate security measures and a valid reason, usually to serve you. The European Economic Area (EEA) grants specific rights to data subjects (including access, rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object and complain). TECHBRIDGE commits to providing these rights regardless of your location. We retain your personal information as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. Once we no longer need to process your information, we will delete, anonymize, or isolate it, as appropriate.

Part II – Information that TECHBRIDGE Processes on Your Behalf

When you use TECHBRIDGE apps to handle other people’s data, such as information about your customers or employees, you are entrusting us with that data for processing. Similarly, if you use a TECHBRIDGE mobile app and grant it access to your contacts and photo library, you are also entrusting that data to us. This data is referred to as service data. You retain ownership of your service data. We protect it, restrict access to it, and only process it according to your instructions. You have the right to access it, share it via third-party integrations, and request its export or deletion. We retain the data in your account as long as you continue to use TECHBRIDGE services. If you terminate your account, your data will be automatically deleted from our active database within six months, and from our backups within three months after that. If you are in the European Economic Area and believe that your information has been entrusted to us for processing (e.g., by your employer or a company whose services you use), you can request certain actions regarding your data. To exercise these data rights, please contact the person or company that provided your data to us, and we will work with them to address your request.

Part III – General

There are certain limitations to the privacy we can guarantee. We will disclose personal information if necessary to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, or protect the safety of our users. We do not currently honour Do Not Track signals from internet browsers; however, we will follow a universal standard for processing them when one emerges. Third-party websites and social media widgets have their own separate privacy policies. Always review the relevant privacy policy before sharing personal information with third parties. You can contact us to ask questions about our privacy practices, request a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Addendum, alert us if you believe we have collected personal data from a minor, or request to have your personal information removed from our blogs or forums. We will notify you of any major changes to our privacy policy or, in the highly unlikely event, if we decide to sell our business.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy statement is made by the TECHBRIDGE Group, which includes all related entities (collectively referred to as “TECHBRIDGE”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

TECHBRIDGE’s Privacy Commitment

For nearly a decade, TECHBRIDGE has prioritized customer and user privacy, long before it became legally required or widely recognized as important. We collect only the minimal amount of information necessary for conducting business or completing specific transactions. We inform customers of the information we have on them and allow them to opt out of certain engagements. Importantly, we do not generate any revenue from advertising, even from the free editions of our products. This ensures there is no conflict of interest between collecting customer information and generating advertising revenue, thereby maintaining a high standard of customer privacy. The goal of this policy is to clearly outline the information we collect, how we use it, and how we do not use it. While this policy is longer than we would prefer, it is necessary to address all relevant situations clearly and unambiguously. We strive to use simple and direct language whenever possible.

Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all TECHBRIDGE websites that link to it, as well as the products and services provided through these websites, our mobile applications, and applications posted by TECHBRIDGE on our online marketplace and other third-party online marketplaces. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any websites, products, or services that have a separate privacy policy. This Privacy Policy is divided into three parts:

Part I – Information TECHBRIDGE Collects and Controls:

This section explains how TECHBRIDGE collects and uses information about website visitors, potential customers, users of TECHBRIDGE’s products and services, and individuals who contact TECHBRIDGE through forms or email addresses published on or linked to our websites.

Part II – Information that TECHBRIDGE Processes on Your Behalf:

This section details how TECHBRIDGE handles data that you entrust to us when you use our products and services, or when you share personal or confidential information with us while requesting customer support.

Part III – General

This section covers topics relevant to both Parts I and II, as well as other general subjects such as TECHBRIDGE’s security commitments and how we will notify you of changes to this Privacy Policy.

This includes information about your customers and employees (if you are a controller) or data you hold and use on behalf of another person for a specific purpose (if you are a processor). Information from Mobile Devices

Some of our mobile applications, with your permission, may access information such as the camera, microphone, call history, contact information, photo library, files, and other stored information on your mobile device. Our applications need such access to provide their services. Similarly, location-based information is collected for purposes including locating nearby contacts or setting location-based reminders, which will be shared only with our mapping providers and used solely for mapping user locations. You may disable mobile applications’ access to this information at any time by adjusting the settings on your device. The data stored on your mobile device and its location information accessed by the mobile applications will be used in the context of the mobile application, and transferred to and associated with your account in the corresponding services (where the data will be stored on our servers) or products (where the data will remain with you unless you share it with us).

Ownership and Control of Your Service Data

We recognize that you own your service data. We provide you complete control over your service data by allowing you to (i) access your service data, (ii) share your service data through supported third-party integrations, and (iii) request export or deletion of your service data.

Sharing Service Data

TECHBRIDGE Group and Third-Party Sub-Processors: To provide services and technical support for our products, the contracting entity within the TECHBRIDGE group engages other group entities and third parties.
Employees and Independent Contractors: We may provide access to your service data to our employees and independent contractors involved in providing services to (i) identify, analyze, and resolve errors, (ii) manually verify emails reported as spam to improve spam detection, or (iii) manually verify scanned images to ensure the accuracy of optical character recognition. We ensure restricted access to your service data for specific individuals, and this access is logged and audited. Our employees will also access data shared knowingly for technical support or to import data into our products or services. Privacy and security guidelines are communicated and strictly enforced within the TECHBRIDGE group.
Collaborators and Other Users:  Some products or services allow you to collaborate with others. Initiating collaboration may enable collaborators to view some or all of your profile information. For example, when you edit a shared document, your name and profile picture will be displayed next to your edits.
Third-Party Integrations: Our products and services support integrations with third-party products and services. Enabling third-party integrations may allow third parties to access your service data and personal information. We encourage reviewing the privacy practices of third-party services and products before enabling integrations.
Other Cases: Other scenarios where we may share information covered under Parts I and II are described in Part III.
Retention of Service Data : We retain the data in your account as long as you choose to use TECHBRIDGE Services. Once you terminate your TECHBRIDGE user account, your data will be deleted from the active database during the next clean-up, which occurs every six months. Data deleted from the active database will be removed from backups after three months.

Automation and Artificial Intelligence

To enhance productivity and predictive capabilities for our users, we employ technologies such as regex parsing, template matching, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. We make limited use of service data for these technologies by using anonymized samples of service data to improve algorithm accuracy and using your organization’s data to develop models specific to your organization. These technologies are powered mostly by our internal data, including internal communications, customer interactions, and internal documents, as well as external sources.

Do Not Track (DNT) Requests

Some internet browsers have enabled ‘Do Not Track’ (DNT) features, which send a signal to websites indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. Currently, there is no standard governing the actions websites should take in response to these signals. Therefore, we do not take action in response to these signals at this time.

External Links on Our Websites

Our websites may contain links to third-party websites that are not governed by this Privacy Policy. If you submit personal information to any of these third-party sites, your information is subject to their privacy policies. As a safety measure, we recommend not sharing any personal information with these third parties unless you have reviewed their privacy policies and are assured of their privacy practices.

We will notify you via email or through a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or use of your personal information and service data. We will also notify you of any choices you may have regarding your personal information and service data.
